How do Teen Patti hands rank?

1. Trail: three cards of the same rank.
2. Pure sequence: three consecutive cards of the same suit.
3. Sequence: three consecutive cards in mixed suits.
4. Colour: three cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
5. Pair: two cards of the same rank.
6. High card: none of the above, ranked by the highest card.

What is the difference between blind and seen?

A blind player bets without looking at their cards, and their bets usually cost less. A seen player has looked at their cards and must bet more per turn. Each table sets its own ratio between blind and seen bets.

How does a round end?

Players can pack (fold) at any time. When only two players remain, one can ask for a show, and both hands are compared. The better hand wins the pot, and ties follow the table's rules.

Which variants might you see?

• Muflis: the lowest hand wins instead of the highest.
• AK47: aces, kings, fours and sevens act as jokers.
• Joker games: a randomly chosen card or rank acts as a wild card.
