An each-way bet is two bets: one on the player to win and one on them to finish in the places, such as the top 5 or top 8. If they place but don't win, the place part pays at a fraction of the win odds.
How do dead heats work in golf betting?
If two or more players tie for a paid place, your stake is split across the tied positions and paid at the reduced rate. This is the dead-heat rule.
